Charity acrtivities and the spirit of solidarity constitute two of the strongest foundations of the educational values promoted by Leonteio Lykeio Patission.
With the help and support of their teachers, our students in Primary School, as well as those in Junior High and High School, participate directly in a number of charity activities.

· * Throughout the academic year students offer a sum of money which is mostly a part of their allowance. This sum is gathered in a special money-box and, together with a sum raised in the Lottery of the annual Fancy-dress party, constitutes the fund for the relief of the poor.
· * The greatest part of this fund is distributed during the annual love campaigns. On the days before Christmas and Easter, after having attended a special mass, the students visit a foundation which they have been supporting since the beginning of the School year. These love squads comprise volunteer students and teachers who visit orphanages, old people's homes, poor families etc, offering help and support, moments of joy and love.
· * As a member of the international organisation Action Aid our school has also adopted 18 children.
· * We also promote the fraternization of our school with other schools located in developing areas. We fund student exchange programmes in cooperation with the Balkan countries to promote and reinforce solidarity among their peoples.
· * We offer material as well as moral help to the missionary work of the Orthodox and Catholic church, both in Greece and abroad.
· * We support the members of the Marist Order who live and work in developing countries throughout the world.
· * Last, but not least, we often raise money to relieve people stricken by famine, war or earthquakes. We offer food, clothes, toys etc depending on their special needs.

Yet, the gain for us too is invaluable, since we obtain friendship and we fill our souls with the importance of acting as humans and especially as Christians.
