Leonteio Lykeio regards as its primary duty the linking of learning to the achievement of moral freedom, to the enhancement of national pride through our Christian-Greek traditions and the propagation of Faith through the experience of Evangelical principles. To achieve this:

It confesses that faith in God can only be experienced through the freedom of its members.

It respects freedom of consciousness.

The teachers and students follow Christian beliefs and practices, according to their dogma.

It recommends following the teachings of the Evangelists to all its members and urges them to promote a society where these teachings will prevail and will be experienced.

It cultivates devoutness to the Virgin Mary especially, according to the teachings of the founder of the Brotherhood, Saint Marcellin Champagnat, and places itself under Her Protection.

It promotes an appreciation of everyone's uniqueness and the further development of this through Christian teaching.
