This is the 10th year of the Parents' School at Leonteio Lykeio. This institution is addressed to parents of all grades. It is open every year from November till April; every Monday afternoon from 6:30 - 8:00. The issues analysed are mostly concerned with the Psychology of the Child as well as the family institution in general, the relationships between people, health and society. Seminars are presented by skilled psychologists, sociologists and doctors. The programme is valid for 3 years. It is renewed every 3 years and parents who regularly attend the sessions are given a certificate. Each year's programme is a continuation of the previous one.
Every year the meeting centers on one issue. During the year 1999-2000 the focus was "the family". In the year 2001-2002 it will be "puberty"...

Methodology is simple and it is based on the dynamics of the groups. There is always a short introduction made by the speaker and a conversation follows, although this pattern is not always the same.
Conversations are very often based on personal experience. The final goal is information but also self-awareness.
