A child’s education does not only deal with learning to read and write, which constitute the primary stage of education. Such tutoring would be enough for a man who belonged only to this world. But man alone has a totally different mission: he belongs to heaven, to God, and should be educated to reach heaven and God.
To raise a child properly, you should make him/her recognize this great and exceptional purpose, you should offer him/her the means to achieve it. All in all, educating a child means raising a good Christian and a virtuous civilian.
